Artistry has always been a part of Marianne's life, and soon after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University, she began her career in the grand city of New York working as a set designer and scenic artist for various companies around the country.  She was part of the 8 Hands High Design team at Radio City Music Hall, designer and lead artist for the Off-Broadway show, The Odyssey, and worked on various other theatrical shows. She soon realized her passion for art was matched by her love of sharing it with others and seeing their enjoyment.  Wanting to learn more, she enrolled in decorative painting classes with many well-known artists in the field. Marianne found her creative outlet and opened her decorative finishing studio, MW Designs.

Marianne has worked with residential and commercial clients on both interior and exterior projects.  She works with clients to create a unique setting for their homes and businesses making certain the walls and ceilings in each room reach their full potential and sign art has high appeal.

She currently lives in New York with her husband Ryan, children, Andrew, Jessica, and Lucas, and their loveable dog, Caramel.  When Marianne isn’t creating art, she enjoys working on their home, playing softball, spending family time on their boat, or relaxing in their backyard.
